Italian ICDL operator elects new President

During a live event broadcast online to mark the 60th anniversary of AICA, the ICDL operator in Italy, Giovanni Adorni, President of AICA, spoke about the commitment, vision and mission of AICA towards the Italian recovery post-Covid-19, focusing on social innovation as a strategy and a stimulus for recovery and a factor of diffusion of digital culture.
AICA, which operates ICDL Italy, participated in the 12th edition of HANDImatica. The event, which took place as an online event in November 2020, brings together organisations and business from around Italy each year to focus on digital technology for autonomy and inclusion for people with disabilities.
The ICDL programme was officially launched in Italy on 22 October at an event in Naples. More than 200 people attended, including representatives of many ICDL test centres.
AICA launched the ICDL Information Literacy module in Italy in October 2018. Due to interest in the module’s subject, AICA organised a ‘train the trainer’ webinar for Accredited Testers.
AICA, the Italian ICDL operator, officially announced the new ICDL programme in Italy on 10 May 2019.
