SPECTO HOLDS ITS ANNUAL RETREAT FOR ICDL TEACHERS AT THE DEAD SEA


In late June of this year, Specto held its annual retreat for ICDL teachers at the Dead Sea in recognition of their efforts throughout the past year to successfully implement the ICDL program despite the challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over 100 principals and teachers representing the elite private schools in Jordan attended the seminar on digital skills in schools. ICDL Europe General Manager, Linda Keane spoke about the shift in occupations by 2030 and the need for digital skills in order to succeed in those roles. She also outlined recent updates to ICDL modules which include the most in-demand trending skills needed for the future.

During the seminar, Specto spoke about the importance of the Robotics modules for schools and explained about the complete solution it offers to assist schools in implementing the program.

Specto shed light on success stories shared by outstanding students from ICDL accredited schools reflecting the positive impact of ICDL on their studies and personal lives.

Finally, the Chairman of Specto, Professor Ahmad Abu El Haija, presented plaques and recognition certificates for ICDL schools and teachers in recognition of their remarkable performance in delivering ICDL programs over the past year.
