Report on ESCO highlights ECDL quality assurance measures

ECDL has been referenced in a new report from the European Commission as an example of quality assurance in skills certification. The report, ‘Support to the development of the ESCO qualifications pillar’, was commissioned to help develop the qualifications element of the European Skills/Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO) classification, which is, itself, used to help match between skills, jobs, and qualifications.

Within the report, ECDL is referenced several times for its quality assurance procedures, highlighting our commitment to maintaining certification to the highest standards.

Additionally, the report defines nine approaches to quality assurance, showing ECDL fulfilling eight of them.

ECDL Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that ECDL is a very high-quality certification, no matter where it is delivered. We are very happy to see this commitment recognised through these references.
