Children at SOS Childrens’ Village Danang in Vietnam to follow ICDL certification programmes

30 underprivileged children from SOS Children Village in Danang will be able to receive ICDL certification programmes through a partnership between Danang Vocational Training College (DANAVTC) and ICDL Vietnam.

A signing ceremony was held to officiate the three-party collaboration to conduct ICT training which hopes to significantly improve the participants’ ICT skills for study and for their future job-role.

As a newly Accredited Test Centre for ICDL Vietnam, DANAVTC will also offer multiple digital skills training and certification programmes to ensure that all DANAVTC’s students are equipped with the basic computer skills that are essential in the growing IT society of today.

Danang Vocational Training College is one of the few schools selected by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to be part of the ‘Technical and Vocational Training’ project. After 40 years of development, the quality of teachers and technical infrastructure has improved, meeting the demands for skilled human resources in Danang and the regional localities.
