St Veit Vocational School in Austria was awarded a trophy for being the ‘Most Successful ECDL School in Europe’ by OCG, the ECDL operator in Austria. The school has been a flagship ECDL test centre in Austria for the past three years.
Speaking during a visit to the school, Ronald Bieber, Secretary General of OCG, said, “The ECDL programme enables an internationally uniform standard for basic digital skills on the computer. The Corona period shows just how important digital education, like ECDL, is in the school area. Core elements are skills in handling the most important applications, such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint.”
The school runs approximately 900 ECDL certification tests a year, with around 150 students gaining ECDL certification every year.
